BAZINGA

So I finally finished Jen's drawing that I have been promising her for a billion months. It is a character from one of her books. I won't expand on that, cause I don't know if she wants me to.

Here is the drawing with colour and without.

So this week I have rediscovered my love for the Big Bang Theory.  It is soo brilliant. Sheldon Cooper is the most brilliantly entertaining character of my life!

Please watch this video it is amazing.

It will change your life. I promise you!

The style of a famous animator.

The theme of the week is to draw something in the style of a famous animator.

The animator is chose is
Chris Sanders

For those of you who do not know, he basically designed the style for Disney's Lilo and Stitch, as well as animating in it.

Here is a few drawings in his style, maybe later this week I will edit one of them.

Classic drawing of girls. Thick legs/arms, large boobs, tiny waist.

Rounded shape animals, with almost Asian eyes.

Also a rounded creepy goblin/elf thing. Who knows, but I had fun.

So BAM! my drawing of the week is complete! ... now what do I do?

Adventures and Animals

Adventures of the week included going to Super Store, finding a halloween old man, and kissing him. I pretty much made his day.

Joel may not have kissed him, but he nuzzled him.  Poor old man, he didn't even see it coming.

I also drew these animals recently when I was bored.
Fearsome tiger, grrr.

Random fox- not too happy with this one.

Adventures for today included drawing a rainbow crayon for Phil, with a funny hat, which is a sharpener. This is for Phil because as he says - he always stands like this and wears a sharpener as a hat. I may have messed that up, but anyhow, enjoy.

I realize it may not be as funny to you as it was at the time.

Also Simon has posted his Purple People Eater sketch. Its pretty amazing, check it out.

Purple People Eater

Karly, Kevin, Simon (all from the summer animation program) and I have started to do a theme of the week.  I'm not sure how this will work out with everyone doing it on time etc. but never the less we are trying it anyway.

This weeks theme is Purple People Eater, chosen by none other than me. Here is mine. I made a couple different ones.

The large misunderstood version, poor thing.

The small evil one.

I will post links to everyone else's blogs when they post their versions.

Brother Bear

Yesterday, I went over to Karly's for MORE drawing. It was a stupendous day filled with laughter, movies and of course, drawing.

We went to Haney Place mall and went in to the Antique Store.  It was really cool; however, we saw lots of creepy dolls.  Here is a couple-

Mayor of Munchkin City.  Also take note of the doll in the corner..

One of the 3 movies we watched was Brother Bear. I had forgotten how witty and funny that movie is. The part that had us rolling on the ground with laughter was during the credits when they are looking at themselves in the swiggly ice. If you have seen it, you will know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, during the movie I decided to draw some of the characters.

Leader of the tribe- spirit lady.

Kenai -Main character

Old lady bear - Telling the other bears her husband is dead (he's not)

Crazy Russian bear

Rutt - one of the two moose

My personal favorite - the two love bears. "You're gorgeous-er!"

Over all it was a great day!

Catwoman

So while looking at other peoples blogs I came across this website which had a drawing club. Because I live so far away I thought I would just draw the real life picture of some of the models.

This one is mine.

Not mine! I do not take credit. I copied this one.

A couple other models.

Winnie the Pooh and Randoms.

Hello Everyone! So here is kind of an update of my goings on in the past few days, after getting back from DisneyWorld. I shall post about DisneyWorld later cause that should be a post in itself with all the pictures etc.
Here is a couple books I bought at DisneyWorld, as well as a couple I bought here.

Did you ever read this book when you were young? I did! It was amazing. I would just sit for hours and read it.

This is a character drawing of me I got in Universal Studios. The artist is amazing and did this in about half an hour, if that.
The other day Karly (from the summer animation program) and I went to the mall to draw people. This is in an attempt to keep up our drawing skills for next year. Well turns out it was lots of fun and we encountered some pretty interesting characters.
Today Karly, Kevin and I went downtown as part of our Monday hangout days. It was quite fun indeed. After eating yummy and cheap sushi we went in to a couple thrift stores and I exited with a charming and old Winnie the pooh book, Alice in wonderland, The Aristocats (movie), and How The Grinch Stole Christmas ( which I have to wait till December first to watch).
Then we went in to opus and I found my next sketchbook journal (I am very excited about this). I tried to do the first page at the park but it didn't turn out how I wanted it. Luckily the pages rip out nicely (always a plus). Anyway, I did the first page at home and am happier with it.
I will put up my DisneyWorld pictures soon, do not fret!

I'm home!

Hello everyone!

I am back from Florida and it was amazing, but very tiring. Quick sketch I did at work today.

I promise I will write more later, I'm just on my break at work.
