The Mermaid Pendant.

Hello Everybody!
So for those of you who know me, know that I have a slight obsession with Mermaids..

Ariel especially.  Really I would like to be her, so I do things to help people realize we are more alike.  Such as dressing like her, doing my hair like her..

 .. eating live fish..

Juuuust Kidding! I'm not that obsessed.

Anywho, I like to collect mermaid type things.  A few weeks ago I was being distracted for hours online, when..

I came across this

A mermaid pendant necklace that glows in the dark.  A realization came over me.

I began thinking about how amazing life would be once I got this Mermaid Pendant.  I may have gotten a little carried away..

Okay, maybe not that carried away, but I did order the necklace.  It arrived last week.  Much to my disapointment, I did not turn in to a real mermaid.  However, it does in fact glow in the dark, and it is a gorgeous necklace!

A couple drawings I did at the mall the other day, and a couple figuring out my character look for the comic.

P.s. That guy there that I drew was insanely odd, though entertaining.  He knew I was drawing him, and he liked it! Not only did he like it, but he kept looking over and blushing.  Oh and he was picking his nose, a great subject really! Very entertaining afternoon!

If you have any ideas for a comic you would like me to make, please let me know.

Foxes and Frames!

I must update you all on the things I have been working on the last couple weeks.  I have finished the Disney frame for the craft fair coming up!

The whole thing took me around twenty-three hours.  Completely worth it!

The other week my friend and I carved pumpkins, I did scar.  I took this picture today, after it had molded quite a bit (I know, sick!).  When I can get the better picture I will post it.

Earlier today I did a study on fox's because I love them and want to draw them better!

I love fox's sooo much and will one day own one! But for now I need to settle for drawing them.

Here is a couple more sketches that I will use for Christmas cards.  I'm not too sure if I want to use the puppy or not yet, but I will for sure use the mermaid and the fox (my two favorite things).

Poor little fox!

Is it just me or do the newly released versions of the Disney movies lack a certain something? They are too polished.  I like the grainy and sketchy quality of the old ones!

P.s. I'm watching the Fox and the Hound at the moment!

Disney Cel Frame

One of the projects for the craft fair, that I am doing, is a Disney Frame.  The outside is covered with Disney Characters, and inside there is room for a fairly large picture.

I have completed the drawing portion so far, and need to paint it.  To paint it, I just turn over the acetate paper (clear sheet), and paint on the back.

(the pictures are not great, but heres a preview)
