School come back to me!

I miss school!

Work is fine, but I miss having specific animation or drawing to do.  I went to the animation open house a couple weeks ago, and WOW! Some of the drawings there made me want to scream! They are amazing!  Maybe if I get in to the program, with lots of hard work, I will be able to make such captivating and emotional drawings like they did.

Here is a few drawings I did a couple days ago. I know, its not much but its something right?

 Now when I edit it (on my sweet new camera), and put it to negative, it makes it look like I drew it in chalk! Pretty cool hey?

P.s. I am soooo sore today! I went rock climbing again yesterday, and man my arms are not used to that kind of exercise.  We did get our belaying ticket though!  This means we can go there whenever and do it all ourselves. Nice hey?

Happy Late Valentines!

I have not done much drawing over the last week, but I did make my boyfriend a Valentines card.

This is Timon with a girl meerkat. I put it in a clear envelope thing because the normal envelopes were not the right shape.  Also it was raining that day, and this would protect it.

Here is a picture of me and my boyfriend on Valentines.  We went to Castle Fun Park!  

(That's right, be jealous.. heh heh)

I lost at every game (including mini golf) except for this one racing game! I was really proud of myself!

So best present ever.. I got a touch screen camera for Valentines.  It has crazy settings, like the unfocused background, and it can detect when you smile and then take the picture.  I think it may be smarter than I am.

Magic Worlds and Fairy Tales

As promised, I did draw more yesterday, though they are not all the greatest.

Robin Hood!

Rabbit. The head is way to big, but I did not feel like fixing it.

Meant to be my boyfriend Jacob, but it does not really look like him.  It is so hard to draw people I know for some reason.

This is sort of me.  I drew it from a picture of me, but changed some things.

Sometimes I wish I lived in a land of fairy tales, and magical things. Wait, scratch that, I always wish that.  It would be so great though. Just think of all the amazing Disney movies.  Now imagine you lived in a world where all of that was possible.  Where magic wands were used daily, and princes came to your rescue. I like to imagine I am a mermaid, of course.  

When I think of Disney, some days, my heart feels like its filling up with Joy! I get so excited to draw or read about Disney, or watch a Disney movie. Maybe I am being silly but I love it!

Do you ever think of something and get filled with a giddy happinessÉ

I did not have time to post yesterday, but I did draw on my way to work.

Unicorns, and bus rides!

I am making it my goal to try and draw on my way to work. There is people all around me, which is great for inspiration.  For some reason even if I don't draw anything I see, its easier to come up with ideas.

Before I left for work I drew a unicorn. One of my friends is slightly obsessed with them, so I am going to colour it and give it to her.

I passed a dog while on the bus and his face was incredibly saggy, which inspired this drawing.

Another drawing I did on the bus, this one just kind of kept forming.

I am happy to report that I am starting to get more hours at work! Whooot!

Back from the dead... with drawings!!

I HAVE RISEN FROM THE DEAD!

I know, I have been gone for sooo long. Part of the problem was my phone got rained on for three hours, and decided to die on me. So I couldn't take pictures with my phone of my drawings. The other part was in fact, my laziness. 

A while ago my friend Kevin and I got together and worked on life drawing from this amazing book. 

Here is a couple sketches I did at my boyfriends one day. I was supposed to be blocking a song for theatre, but got sidetracked.. oops!

Gotta have drawings of randoms.

These I did today, on my way to work. That seems to be the most productive time for me.
