Where are you Christmas?

Even though, I have many many drawings to do before Christmas comes, I want it to be here now!

Life has been very busy between work, buying presents, and making cards/drawings. However, I am happy to announce that I am officially done buying all my gifts.  Not too expensive a year, I must add, because of all the drawing presents. So far I have finished two out of about a million haha. 

I can post one drawing on here, but not the other because it is for my dear best friend Melissa, who will for sure see it.  Don't want to give anything away now do we? 

This year my younger brother and I are making stockings for my parents.  It is surprisingly hard to find cheap things they will like to go in the stockings. We walked in to the mall all energized and ready to go, then left basically dragging our chins on the floor. 

I think malls have this vacuum that sucks out your energy, like they feed off it to live, and thats why you leave feeling so tired haha. 

I bought myself an amazing book (from money from my grandma) yesterday. Its called Disneystrology (it tells you your birthday character, and what it says about you). It is basically the greatest book! 

The only downside is that my character is a stupid fat fairy. So lame.

 I am supposed to not look at it and leave it under the tree for Christmas, but it is sooo tempting! I swear it has magical powers.

If you would like to know your character, just comment and tell me when your birthday is and not only will I tell you your character, but I will write the other stuff it says, and perhaps take a picture. However, you may have to wait till after Christmas (there are eyes everywhere).

Drawing and Disney

I saw TANGLED and it was AMAZING!

The story really hit me, and I even cried, much to my embarrassment.  I thought Melissa was also crying because she sniffled and raised her hands to her face, turns out she was only sick. Which leads to the embarrassing moment after the movie which goes like this-

Melissa: The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the crying thing at -

Ramona: The fact that it made you cry every two seconds??!?

Melissa: No the end, when she cried on him.  You cried?

It's not that the movie was horribly sad, I wouldn't relate it to UP, It just touched me I guess. It was funny and cute.  Also, I loove the "Mother"

I am trying not to give anything away for those of you who have not seen it yet. 

Here are the sketches I have done in the last few days. I really should be using that energy toward something I need to be doing like everyones christmas drawings, but I just want to draw random people.  Less pressure that way I guess.

In other news, I now have red hair.  Sort of a darker red, it's pretty fun for the holidays.

I like starting work around 2:00 some days.  Means I get to sleep in and post drawings!

I edited the Grinch card, and let me tell you, it is pretty funny. I wanted to post it but Melissa said - (insert mocking voice) "You're not allowed!"

Well you know what Melissa? SCREW YOU!

Hahha, only kidding. She is sitting across from me as I type this. If I was serious, she'd probably kill me, and nobody would know it was her.  She has this gift of getting rid of the evidence. 

On to bigger and better things, after editing the picture, I decided to draw some lions.

This was me on Saturday. wait, move the hands farther away from the feet, and that was me on Saturday. I have not stretched in so long, the kids were way better than I was. Yes, you may pity me now.

Christmas is coming!

Okay, I know what the date is, but I didn't really know what the date is.

There is a little over a month until Christmas, and I didn't start preparing till yesterday. I am trying to cut back on money I spend on presents this year because I have to pay off school and such. So for the people who will appreciate it, I am going to be making them a drawing.  Not sure if I want to edit them on the computer or watercolor them yet, but either way, this adds quite a bit of work.  Explaining my freak out of Christmas only being in a month.

Anyway, for Christmas cards I decided to draw a couple different designs and print out a bunch of them. I also bought a pack of cards (from Carlton, where I work) because they are soo beautiful.

I am very excited for Christmas this year! Gotta start working on all my cards/drawings now though, so I won't go crazy and have to make 10 drawings in a day later on.

Here is something I drew yesterday. It's hard to see here, so if I can get hold of a working scanner I will scan it for you guys.  Pretty sure I will edit this one too. 

Story-

Girl enters, everyones eyes are on her except for the one person she wants to tell she loves. However, he is at the party with someone else. Sad, I know.

Rain, Rain Go Away

It is pouring rain outside! 

I have to leave for work soon. in the rain.

Yuck!

I changed the look slightly of my character, shes cuter now. 

I wish I could draw all day, but I have to work, bleh.

Maybe I will draw randoms on the bus.

Mermaids and More

Well three days straight of posting! I don't know about you, but I am pretty excited.

Okay so maybe the character I made yesterday is not me, but she is a new character, and either I will change her face to look more like me, or she will just represent my emotions etc.
