Make-shift Animation Desk

I have some very exciting news!
very very exciting!!!

So Yesterday I went to Granville island and bought a few things at Opus (greatest store ever).  A new Watercolour brush, a pencil sharpener (cause I always loose them). The post-its I bought at winners in Peachland.

aaannnnddd..... A light box which I am making in to an animation desk by attaching a peg bar to it! It works wonderfully. Here is a small animation I did quickly of a sack of flour to try it out.  Sorry about the huge watermark on it. It is a free trial and to make it go away you have to buy it, which I will most likely do because the program is amazing.

(My animation is in the right bottom corner)

Winnie the Pooh is AMAZING, You must go see it. I left feeling very pleased! I even brought my Winnie the Pooh in the movie with me.

(Yes that is Prince Caspian peaking out from behind them)

Does anyone know of a free program to put your drawings together in to an animation?

  1. Nice work matey! Looks great! There is a free animation software that I know of - it's called Monkey Jam - just google it and it should come up. I can't use it coz they haven't adapted it for Mac yet (so you'll be in a similar situation to me if you have a Mac!).

    P.S. I love your Post-its. : )

  5. It cost 140 for the box and ten for the peg bar. But buying an animation desk is between 250-1000
